i have a win. xp sp2 pc with nod32 anti virus. the problem is this... when i start up my pc and open the task manager.. i can see my explorer.exe proccess idling at bout 77% of my pc's cpu. i dont know what could be causing this problem. ive had this problem before on my laptop and the solution was a reformat of the OS. i would rather not go in that direction for my desktop. this hasnt always been the problem, it just popped up one day. this has been such a problem that i currently am forced to disable explorer.exe on start up and open a command prompt to manualy type in my commands. it was kinda cool at first but now its anoying.
