Does the external hard drive work if you try to save a file to it?

Do you know what size each of the film files is?

External hard drives typically come formatted using FAT32. FAT32 has a file size limit of 4GB. If you write a file larger than that to a FAT32 partition it will most likely get corrupted.

If that is your case you MIGHT be able to recover the files. Post back with your responses.

run chkdsk on the drive and see if it reports errors beyond the usual you didn't specify /f and running in read only mode.

It works properly, I can save, copy...
I have more ISO files, approx. 4,26, 4,29, 4,35 GB, but external hard drive is NTFS.

I have run chkdsk.exe, and it said nothing error, just logged off after running. It was running in read only mode.

? What to do now?
