I'm pretty good with computers, but this problem has me puzzled. Recently I've noticed that I have a second explorer.exe running in the taskmanager, EXPLORER.exe. I know that there is something really weird with it, and I'm pretty sure that it's spyware/virus.Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I read it, but I don't think that's the thing. It was supposed to have stopped spreading in 2001, and it only affects NT and 2000.

I think it would be good to know that while searching my C drive for EXPLORER.exe i came across these two, out of place, items. EXPLORER.EXE-082F38A9.pf and an EXPLORER.exe that was in system32\data.

After messing around on EXPLORER.exe with a friend we realized what it was. It's Servudaemon. the EXPLORER.EXE-082F38A9.pf is legit, so don't mess with it. But if you ever see EXPLORER.exe running in the background of taskmanager go to C:\windows\System32\data and delete the data folder. It's safe to do and you'll get rid of EXPLORER.exe. Thanks for all the help
