explorer.exe hangs on every boot

Hi
whenever i start windows my desktop does not work. i have to end task explorer.exe from task manager and than start it from run command.
after that my computer works fine with no problem.
is there any way i can fix this?
i've checked for spywares, tried disabling my startup files from msconfig.

one other thing spybot s&D find one thing that explorer.exe is bypassing windows firewall.
i don't about know this, is it normal or not.

any help will be appreciated

Are you sure that the internet explorer is bypassing your windows firewall? Do you have any other fire wall? From my personal experience I have system restored my computer. Have you tried to restore some other files? I dont know much about the desktop, but my personal advice would be just to try system restore it or something simular to that.

no no no internet explorer isn't bypassing firewall it is windows explorer that is by passing the firewall.

Check the location of this "explorer.exe"... if it happens NOT to be in C:\Windows (or equiv. in your system), then it is not the legit MS file, but a trojan.

Maybe do a search on your computer for that file name, and see if there is more than one instance. If more than one, you've got your culprit surrounded!

It was virus
I had not installed antivirus
now i install and repaired about 500 virus files.
