After suffering a UNMOUNTALBE BOOT VOLUME ERROR, I performed a COMPAQ quick restore and the computer works fine except I can not disconnect from the web without getting a explorer.exe error. Any ideas?

Just Try installing your Internet Explorer Once again and see whether the problem gets over or not.
