explorer.exe 100% CPU usage

it says that explorer.exe is using 100% of my cpu. is this an xp glitch, virus, trojan or what? can you fix? if so how? it also messes with my kazaa files, i can't delete some, says they are in use by another program or application, to close and try again but nothing is open...

never seen it at 100 percent. could be any of the above things you stated.
what I would do.
run a virus scan. run ad aware (spyware scan) delete kazaa (to avoid the above two problems 10 fold)

it's probably some spyware from kazaa if u are not using the lite version... search the forum(security and virus) and i think there'se some instruction on removing all kazaa files... install kazaa lite instead(just google it)
