Whenever I start my computer, it runs really slow. I open the Task Manager, and explorer.exe is taking up 90-98% of the CPU. Any ideas on what the problem is?

It wont tell you why it dose that but that it is a confirmed problem with xp and is fixed with SP1.

the Microsoft site is an excellent recorce guid for common problems. try looking there first before sites like this one. that always saves me allot of time.

Hey I downloaded the patch but now XP says my Product Key is invalid?! I'm running a legit version of XP Pro, not something downloaded or anything. Any ideas what to do?
