What's the Pop-up, and what URL are you opening?

Hi BigBird, I'm not sure what version of Internnet Explorer you're using, but in Internet Explorer Version 6 you go to "Tools" then down to "Pop--up Bocker" then click "Turn On Pop-up Blocker"...

Note: Sometimes Spyware & Viruses tries to get into your computer using a Pop-up and when you click on it "anywhere" to close it. it installs in your computer, so the best way to close it is "Ctrl + Alt + Delete, or just turn off pc and restart.

Hmmmm, that confuses me. I think the reply was to mean IE7?

BigBird, tell us which Spyware cleaners, anti-virus progs, etc that you have used.

End, the task, end the process, end the program, but don't just power off the computer.

The only way I close a pop-up that comes up when unwanted is to right click on the task bar where it's listed and click close. I NEVER click on any pop-up directly on my screen. Clicking on screen you risk activating and loading up the malware.
