I keep getting a Window explorer error AppName: explorer.exe AppVer 6.0.2900.5512 ModName: unknown ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000

do you have right-click-option etc. to get "details"?

The problem can be caused by conflicting software, can try to remove the software you installed recently or restore Windows.

Also scan your computer by using antivirus/anti-spyware with latest signature.

The Files included in the error report is

C:\DOCUME~1\acer\LOCALS~1\Temp\4651_appcompat.txt

Appcompat.txt is simply a reporting file used when uploading error reports to Microsoft - Ignore it.
