Comment:

when I open msn explorer an older version of MSN messenger (the one that came with XP) opens as well, can I make it so that my newer version of messenger does that instead of the old one?
Thanx

Just go into C:\Program Files\Messenger and rename messenger's exe to another extention like xxx or zzz.

I personally like the zzz...:~)

Uninstall Windows Messenger 4.7
Can't seem to find a way to uninstall Windows Messenger? Well, there is a way: Click Start >
Run and in the Open: box type the following command (press OK when done):
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
You can just copy/paste the command above in the Open: box from the Run command.
