Expanding hard drive partion

I have partioned my 140 gig Hd into to one 20 gig partion and one 80 gig partion leaving 40 gig unpartioned and unassigned. Is it possible to extend my 20 gig partion with this further 40 gig in xp

Only with a third party program like Partition Magic could you merge the two. But Xp doesn't much like PM, it's been known to cause problems, the choice is yours.

I use PM on both my machines i never had a problem.
