hi there strange problem..
everthing was working fine untill yesterday and now for some reason EVERY .exe i click tries to access the internet,it is ALWAYS the same ip so i traced it and its microsoft 1 redmond way ??? why the hell are all my exe files trying to do this?? i always have norton internet security updated and the background scanner is never disabled so im pretty sure its not a virus or that msblast rubbishany ideas
Regards Dave

well go hmmmm a great virus can is called stinger. IT has the msblast (lovsan worm) in its viruses so it will delete it..try running that it...it worked great for me....

Your own antivirus may have been disabled or altered by a newer virus than you have definitions for....couple things you can try:
If your antivirus is working...update it and restart your computer in safe mode, run full scan.
If you are having problems with NAV...try one of the many free online scans.trojan scanner

you could also have spyware wanting internet access. Download spybot search and destroy and ad-aware...both are free and removes spyware. Update them before running scans.

hey Dave I wouldn't worry about it.
When using Firewall software the applications are supposed to do that.
