I had a software problem with Free Registry Fix. I was given an updated version and that solved my problem. However, immediately after I got a nasty error note about OSA,exe and a forum on Neuber Software had nothing good to say and advised deleting OSA which I did and that problem went away. However, all files requiring exe to run were "out for lunch" i.e. could not be run. - All Microsoft applications - Adobe Photo Delux - Vuze - ITunes - Roger's Self-Healing etc. I have visited numerous sites advertising they had the answer to my problem - just download free file - problem is all those files are opened with an exe file, therefore they won't run. Any ideas?

Thanks, Tufnuf for the reply. About an hour ago I decided to reinstall Windows XP and everything is back to normal. I had a look at the link you gave and even downloaded the .reg file in case it ever happens again. Paul
