Wow, I can't believe the number of ads in computing.net right now. I haven't been on for a few days, but today there were ads everywhere In IE. I also tried google chrome and this great big ad from T-mobile opened and covered 1/2 the page.
This was the address using Google Chrome:
http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

Is this something new? Also, the listing of the forums on the right is also gone, I found that really handy when accessing computing.net

Anyone else noticed this stuff? Especially between answers in posts.

EDIT: Boy, this is some messed up, I posted this to go into the lounge and it got put into Windows XP forum....also, the list of forums is once more back on the right of the page....STRANGE BREW!

EDIT: One other thing I noticed when the forum list was gone on the right that the new badge listings were listed where we usually see our recent posts plus private messages. It replaced the latter at that time.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Hi,

If you are logged in, you won't see any of the ads between posts.

Thanks Justin, I thought I was losing it for awhile!
I didn't realize I wasn't logged in at that time and I thought computing.net reverted back to all those intrusive ads LOL

We are getting "one heck of a lot" of misplaced posts these days. It seems very many posters are hopelessly confused.

When helpers posts get misdirected it makes me think there is more in this new syndrome than meets the eye.
