Your BUS clock may not have been set right. Did you match the BUS speed with the FSB Speed of your CPU?

When you got the new Mother Board did it come with the CPU already installed?

If not and you used your old CPU you have to setup the bus speed of some mother boards to match the CPU. Every CPU has a Front Side Bus (FSB) speed which needs to match. You may have to consult your manual on how to install a CPU into your motherboard.
