This is becoming a serious problem for me. Just about every day, I cannot load anything on yahoo.com's domain on any browser (IE & Netscape)--which affects my ability to check mail, etc. But oddly enough, the Yahoo Messenger application still works when this happens. Also, every other website (except yahoo.com) works. Nobody else seems to have this problem but me. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

CLARIFICATION
This occurs for a few minutes to a few hours every day, but eventually I'm able to load the site. Thanks

Might be a longshot, but since nobody has replied you might try this...
Try deleting all cookies and all temp files.
I had a similar situation with Yahoo quite some time ago and after I did a general disc cleanup and deleted all cookies and junk files, I was able to access Yahoo easily again.
I am not sure what it did; perhaps I had a few bad cookies and got rid of them... I don't know. But at least you could try it until somebody offers some more advice.

Hope it helps you out a bit. Watch for help from others...

Tommyo, that isnt a long shot at all. That is most likely exactly what is happening. Run a disk cleanup. Delete your yahoo cookies. Restart the computer....then go.

Hi Cyclone; that is good to know! I didn't want to give bad advice as I'm not that technically advanced here yet (still learning quite a bit myself), so I'm glad it might help her out.
Thanks for that reply!
