Event-id 7 (Slow startup)
Name: Willemse Date: December 3, 2003 at 14:07:07 Pacific OS: Windows XP HE SP1 CPU/Ram: 1,53GHz AMD Athlon/512Mb
Comment:
My computer is a slow starter lately. I searched and found in the system's log the following:
Source: Disk Event-id: 7
Damaged part in \Device\Harddisk0\D.
I think this causes the slow start-up. When you are started-up everythong works fine, but not a fast as it used to do. And the programs Systeminfo and Help & Supportdo not work anymore. No virus was found (NORTON updated).
What is this and what can I do about this.
My harddisk: 80 GB (Gedeeld in 70GB en 10GB) Maxtor 6L080L4 NTFS
