Comment:

i am having this problem which i dont believe is affecting my computer but am concerned. over and over i am getting two specific errors in my event viewer.

they are:

Detection of product '{90170409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}', feature 'ProductNonBootFiles' failed during request for component '{DD68FEE8-C369-11D1-A173-00A0C90AB50F}'

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service BITS with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097}

ok then i guess three and the DCOM error has been the most persistent. i had IIS installed but i had since removed it and i read somewhere of it having to do with this. any help would be greatly appreciated.
