I am looking for and eMachine T3256 ethernet controll driver, but all I find is software the scanned the computer to see what drivers the system needs. Where do I just find the right driver so that I can get on the internet?

...thanks for the "pm" MJLopez ... clicking the link should start the download which you save to your harddrive, its a very small zip (compressed) file 99.6kb ... once downloaded right click (option) open the file and move your mouse cursor onto and highlight the Winxp folder (within the zip file) and right click it (option) "copy" ... now open say "My Documents" and right click an empty space (option) "paste" ... you should now have the "Winxp" folder copied from the downloaded zip file, the content within should be the driver you require (maybe not) ... next go to "start" run (type) devmgmt.msc [press enter] ... do you now see "network adapter" with perhaps a yellow marker on it? ... right click it (option) "update driver" (check...no not this time)...(next)...(check...install from list or specific location)... (check...include this location in the search) browse (point it) to "My Documents" ..."Winxp" folder **************************************** ... as you have posted in the XP forum I am guessing you require xp driver! ... if you have any problems feel free to post back! . . . ...
