My Ethernter Adapter came to a sudden error last night.I tried to uninstall and replace the drivers but it keep displaying " The Name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name" it either displays Ethernet Controller" or "Linksys blah blah # No(it just keeps adding whenever i replace and install new drivers".Sometimes it also doesn't allow me to uninstall and i had to go to safe mode to remove it and replace the new drivers.. again it wont work... Any Idea ? thanks for help

have you tried making sure all the drivers are PROPERLY uninstalled. Have you tried doing it in safe mode?, if this still produces a problem. If its a PCI adapter then try placeing it into a diferent slot on the board, then try and reinstall drivers.
