When copying files within XP to a CD to then write to the cd I get the following error:
'Windows has a problem copying this file'
It then gives the filename and some information about it but no error number or more detail on the error. I've checked the files and it's only around 10 files out of about 2000, but there seems to be no difference, all are small files with identical permissions. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Ok, 1st, how are you trying to put the files on the disk? Are you using burner programs, like: Nero? Or are you using the "Send To ->" command (right-clicking on the data)
A) You probably need a new program (maybe it's corrupt?)
Other thing is, have you tried putting this file(s) on disks before this was happening?
A) You probably need to clean out your drive with special cleaners. But those you can pick up at Walmart or some electronics store
But the main thing is, you need to give us more info on what's wrong.
