The help and support option is missing from start menu in my Windows XP based computer. And I am getting this error message "Cannot find helpctr.exe". Can somebody help me in this problem. I just want to know how can I access windows help and support in this situation and how can I get this option back in the start menu????
For the Start menu option: • Right-click the Start button • Properties • Start Menu Customize • Select the Advanced tab • In Start menu details..., scroll down to Help and Support • Put a check [√] in Help and Support • OK your way out...
But Help and Support has to be running as a Service, otherwise you get that helpctr.exe error message. To restore that Service, download and merge the #235 helpnsupport.reg file at: Kelly's Korner.
