Installed game called Painkiller and received an error message after trying to start game. The error is: Error: could not initialize DirectX renderer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same error trying to install C&C/Yuris Revenge on a new 3.2gh Dell system... the software doesn't like the chipset of the motherboard... basically, yer screwed trying to get that game to work on that motherboard.
