I am recieving the following message whenever I try to go into Standby. "The service 'Microsoft .NET Framework v1.1.4322 Update" is preventing the machine from entering standby. Try stopping this service and try again."
How do I stop this service when I have no idea what is running it? I have tried shutting down and restarting to no avail.

_Net framework runs in the background whenever you start a program that depend on it or that the program is loaded automatically when Windows start. The best you can do is perform THIS troubleshoot until you locate the culprit program.

Good luck.
