I recently installed a Linksys Wireless PCI Adapter model WMP54G for a wireless home network. The network is working fine so far, but when I shut down the computer there is an error message "The memory could not be read. The instruction at 0x29c1611 could not be read. Click on OK to terminate, cancel to debug". Then the computer shuts down. This appears to be related to the new PCI adapter because when I uninstalled it the error message went away. The manufacturer Linksys said to try uninstalling and then re-installing, but this did not solve the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
