When I try to shut down my computer "End Program" screen comes up with Program (ccAp). I press end now and computer doesn't shut down. I have to hold power. Need some help, driving my crazy new omputer. Does any on know how to fix this problem

Hello Gilloz, ccAp, is probably a Norton Symantec file that is needed. Don't remove it. If you have Norton products like Anti-virus, it always shows up on Shut down, though it should not cause any problems. Go here and run the test. http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/ccapp/ If that does not work, go to Nortons website www.norton.co.uk and click on Support, click on Technical Support, Error message. Try solve it myself first, if not, try the Auto tool. Report back and let us know if more helps needed GEP

Like mine, i turned off "Turn off Auto-Protect floppy drive scan on shutdown" as you computer like mine does not have a floppy drive, it looks for it to check for any problems before shut down, and not finding it, it gets frustrated and so the computer does not shut down properly, if you get my drive.
