Error Loading Rundll
C:\Windows\System32\gckmqwkr.dll
Access is Denied

I am getting the above message with ONE of my user accounts on my system.
This is my friend's computer and he has two user accounts on his Windows XP Home System.
Dell Inspiron 1150

He had major viruses and spyware and after a long, exhausting fix, everything
was working okay except Avast virus protection kept asking to reboot at every start up/update.

I had already run Avast, Ad-Aware, Spybot 3 time EACH. Although not 100% fixed(because the system restore feature still would not work properly and avast antivirus kept asking me to reboot at every startup and update) It was tolerable.

Since Avast antivirus seemed to be acting up, I reinstalled it TWICE and deleted
the second user account because this account seemed to be causing all the problems.
I recreated the account again with the same username and password.

I ran Spybot search and destroy and found/deleted 5 more threats.

NOW when I log back onto the computer I get the above following message,

Error Loading Rundll
C:\Windows\System32\gckmqwkr.dll
Access is Denied

------

I only get this message with the user account that I deleted and recreated.
The gckmqwkr.dll file is in my System32 folder and can be accessed by the main user with no problem. The other user account can access this file and run the associated programs

------------------

I undid the spybot changes hoping it would fix the problem, but it did not, so I ran spybot again and fixed/deleted all the spyware again.

I read somewhere that I need to add user permissions to this folder/file since the old Security ID with permissions to this folder was set with the original user account before I deleted the account, (even though I have the same username and ID)but I cannot find anywhere to set the security for ANY FOLDER. But I do not know if this is even the problem

I looked everywhere and tried to follow microsoft's help and another forum post, but do not
see a security option where it says to look

PLEASE help, as I am to return this computer to my friends tonight. I even tried creating a totally new user acount and I get the same error message with any new user. But for some strange reason, the account that has always been on this computer has no problem running this DLL.

Please help

chillwa, in the back of my mind, there's a nagging feeling that you have something like a Trojan embedded in a hidden file which gets run again at startup effectively reinfecting you.
Run a cleaner? There're several good freebies around.
BTW, I'd suspect it might be in restore so be sure you don't reinitiate a nasty using it. AdAware and Spybot weren't designed to deal with Trojans. A nasty in restore MUST be cleaned before restore is allowed to run again.
