Hello everyone, any help will be really appreciated..
I just bought this computer, it's all new built but without any OS installed. So I install fresh copy of Win Xp pro and updated to sp2. I've done all updates so it's should really be up to date.. This computer kept restarting every few minutes. it was freezing for about 5 seconds and restart by itself. I disabled auto restarting now I'm getting the blue screen
STOP ERROR IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS.
at the bottom of that page
0X000000D1 (0X0F2Y68EA,0X0000002,0X00000000,0XF391EDFA)
TCPIP.SYS address F391EDFA BASE AT F391E000 DATE STAMP 4294CC20
Motherboard is ASUS P5S800-VM
it has onboard realtek family fast Eathernet NICI search online for help about this problem with no luck so far. I installed all drivers from the CD that came with this computer and still same problem.. now i know TCPIP.SYS has something to do with networking, so I deleted Eathernet driver and reinstalled it and install motherboard driver. still same problem....
this computer is working very fast it's great except for this problem
thanks in advance for any help you can provide...

you are on the right route that its a driver problem. you need to get the latest drivers from the manufacturers website.
by the time the driver cd is made and the hardware is shipped it could be a couple of months out of date!
MSI KT4AV-L
AMD Athlon XP 2800
1Gb Crucial 3200 DDR
160Gb Seagate Barracuda
ATI 256Mb 9600XT
16x DL DF DVD/RW
16x DVD ROM
9-in-1 Flash Media FDD

This might not be much help but...
I was having the almost the exact same problem with an an older compaq (p400 or something like that) and tried swapping everything out but the mobo and could not get the problem resolved. I could not even install an OS, a few mins into installation I would get this error.
I tried swapping out the cd-rom, ram, hd, psu, etc.
I was getting the STOP ERROR IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS but my error code did not include any file name so it was tough to determine what exactly was causing the problem.

thanks guys
I downloaded another driver from driverguide and installed it last night. I haven't got that error since last night so I guess the new driver i installed it working good....
thanks a lot
