Error installing driver

CPU/Ram: P4 2.0GHz/256 RAM

When I try to install the driver for my NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 I get an error that says
An error occurred during the installation of the device The Parameter is incorrect

I do believe that XP automatically recognizes that video card, you shouldn't have to load drivers, unless you are updating them...
