I also have a problen with LVCOM Service ,its listed about 3 times as running in my Windows Task Manager . I looked in MSCONFIG and its not listed under the start up tab ! Any input reguarding LVCOM Service also appreciated , I believe the reason for the higher CPU temp. is due to one or both of these problems I listed ? The CPU seems to be running at a higher percentage even when PC is idle ? Any help appreciated !
Thanks in Advance to All,
Nick

Your cpu temp is way below tolerances and is not related to this error.

Concerning LVCOM are you running a web cam?

Hi and thank you for the reply . To answer you ? , yes I have a Logitech Web Cam Communicator ! However I do not have it set to load when windows starts and I went into the services in administrative tools, services and set LVCOMSer to manual instead of automatic and the LVSrvLauncher also to manual instead of automatic ! This has eliminated the listing in task manager ,now I will have to see if it stops the error in Event Viewer from reappearing ? Iam also going to go to the link mentioned above for more info . I opened the tower on my PC ,,the side panel opens when you lift on a lever on top (very nice big tower ) and that had the temps drop to 50- 51C , however since 54-55C is not a problem I will probably not leave it open fearing it will only allow more dust to collect inside the tower ! Thanks to all that replied its greatly appreciated .
Take Care Nick
