I have winxp rc2.iso that burns in a CD but the controls.man file its in 0 KB.

Hi, I HAD the same problem. But I solved it easily. I used Nero Burning Rom, and DAO (disc at once) MUST be checked before burnig. Voila'

i have windows xp and i've tried to use 3 different cd's to install, but my controls.man file is 2kb but contains all zeros. please send me the script or any suggestions.

I hate Microsoft. controls.man is used as a protection so that Ilegal software could not be used. Like I pay Bill Gates for his software if he will give me a dime for each time my windows crashes.

If I try to overwrite the controls.man I get "access denied" is there a way to overwrite it?
remember, that you can't edit a file that's on a CD. The CD is read only. You need do a "save as" of the new CONTROLS.MAN (save as is in the file menu) file to the hard drive. Copy the entire win xp cd to the hard drive and replace with new controls.man file with the one you saved to hard drive.
