This is irritating. I have a storage hard drive at 80GB and my C drive is 120GB.
I HAVE VIDEO FILES that are around 5GB's to like 7GB's. I want to cut and paste these videos from my C H/drive to the 80GB storage hard drive, but I get this message: "Error Copying File or Folder. There is not enough free disk space, delete one or more files to free disk space, and then try again."
WELL, there is 29.7 GB's of space left on the storage hard drive...so the files should be able to get on it. Why arn't they going on my storage hard drive? Normal files go on it, but just not these videos that i have tryed ranging from 5GB's and up.
NOTE: my 80GB storage h/d is in another computer in my house. The computers are networked. I have 3 computers networked. I don't think this has anything to do with it though. What's my problem?

First item would be to check your disk properites
In my computer right click select properties for the drive.
Select the Quota tab
make sure Enable quota management is unchecked.

What is the file system on the 80GB drive? If it is anything other than NTFS, then the drive does not support files that large. You will need to convert the drive to NTFS to allow for files larger than 2GB.
