OS: win xp pro 2002
CPU/Ram: 466 mhz intel

I keep getting this error code when im at direct connect, Too many files in sub tmrBgWork timer DC should be restarted as soon as possible. Thats the first message, its when im trying to right click. Several other messages just as foreign as that follow, Noone at direct connect has ever seen this before. Ive also reinstalled it again. can someone please help?

I use to get a similar if not the same error awhile back. It would pop up randomly when I was in a hub and at first I would just choose ok and restart DC. But then it just got annoying so I would ignore it and let DC keep running anyway. DC would run fine for 8+ hours after the message popped up. I never figure out what it meant or what caused it. When the next version of DC came out I just upgraded and it seemed to solve the problem. Maybe DC++ will run better for you.
