I get a error code 7 after i reboot and try to finish the XP install.. there error is listed below

File setupdd.sys could not be loaded
the error code is 7

Setup cannot continue press any key to exit

The problem is RAM, I check my RAM modules one by one and one was bad... I replace it and the computer it's working fine...

Thanks for the tip. I checked my RAM, and that was what caused the problem. My error code was 4.

i get error code 7 and i check my RAM and all the sticks work fine. i tried placeing one stick in at a time and it still gave me

\$WIN_NT$.~BT\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded error code is 7

anyone one have any other ideas that might help me?
