Hi i've been trying to install a webcam on my friends computer the webcam is still unable to work because of an error code 19 i've tried registry repair programs and uninstalling everything and i'm still getting the same problem. reformatting the computer is out of the question due to we can't find the win XP CD. thank you

Is this when you use yahoo messenger and try to start the webcan the computer just stalls. If this is it I had the same problem , there was a file to download to fix , i think its a problem with yahoo messenger.

When installing USB devices, you usually must install the driver 'before' connecting the device. If you didn't do that, uninstall and try again.
