Hi there folks - really need some help here if poss please - pulling what's left of my hair out !! Got XP pro/SP2 on my home build pc. Went over to b/band about 2 months ago 1.0mbs via tiscali using a sagem 800 modem. I ran norton 2004 until about 1 month ago and then bought the 2005 version (firewall, a/virus & adware). Live update carried out etc etc. However this last couple of days I haven't been able to log onto the net - each time it comes up with error 721. My son has apparantly been able to connect during the day when I've been at work using his XP log-in. I've searched computing.net archives, but can't seem to find anything that seems to relate. Anyone any suggestions please before the dreaded re-format of HDD takes place (with 10lb hammer lol). Will check posts using this work pc when able to. Appreciate any help - ta very much.
