I recently encountered an error 720 when i try to connect my broadband internet. I followed all the instructions for fixing this problem at Microsoft website, utilizing all these commands but still does not work. The commands are:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
netdiag /test:winsock
netsh winsock reset

I also type in this command for diagnostic netsh diag gui, the error report are as follows:


Internet Service
- Default Outlook Express Mail pop3.so-net.com.hk / smtp.so-net.com.hk FAILED
InBoundMailPort = 110
- InBoundMailServer = pop3.so-net.com.hk (FAILED)
Ping request could not find host pop3.so-net.com.hk. Please check the name and try again.
InBoundMailType = POP3
Unable to connect to pop3.so-net.com.hk port 110
OutBoundMailPort = 25
- OutBoundMailServer = smtp.so-net.com.hk (FAILED)
Ping request could not find host smtp.so-net.com.hk. Please check the name and try again.
OutBoundMailType = SMTP
Unable to connect to smtp.so-net.com.hk port 25
Default Outlook Express News Not Configured
Internet Explorer Web Proxy Not Configured
.....

Please help

Error 720 about the PP connection...can't remember whatis it....

running on cable
