When I try to login I get various messages them it logs me out and hangs. It sometimes says Passer message value creation fault at line 422. or a problem is preventing windows from accuatly check licence. Ive tried all the suggestions posted on forums to fix this and still, the same thing. ive tried fixboot from repair console. tried booting to safe mode. it will not boot to safe mode. ive tried copying userini.exe in repair console. Ive tried to slave the drive to save inportant data. It works but the data of users with passwords will not show up. like their documents and settings. I dont mind reinstalling windows but i need the saved data from the my documents. any help please?

Did you try a repair from the install menu? "REPAIR EXISTING INSTALLATION". You will only lose the xp updates. You will have to reinstall all of them. Be sure your A/V and firewall are active before going on the net. please post back with the fix that worked so we may help others. Thanks.
