When will the Windows XP driver for this printer be available? It's not available on the Epson site.

Manufacturers are under no obligation to provide new drivers for older hardware to work with XP as many have learnt. In your case, this maybe the same. Alternatively, you could search for a Win2K driver that may work with XP.

I have the epson 740 and although there are drivers for it in Windows XP there is no status monitor available so the onll way you know if your ink is running out is to wait for the red light to flash

I have an Epson 440 printer and XP installed the printer driver. The printer works but I cannot install the status monitor, PhotoMax, etc. from the Epson Printer CD. Were you able to install these from your CD? If, so how did you do this?
