I have a new Dell 4700, purchased this week, I installed a new epson cx6400(all in one). I used the Epson cd and went through the installation instructions. The printer printed one test page. Then, I click on the epson photo software and the computer froze and locked up, I had to force it to shut down. Then the computer would not restart, the first dell boot screen comes up and then I get a blinking curser in the upper left side of a black screen, nothing else. I called dell we disconnected everything and reconnect, the computer is working great again. Except when I plug the USB from the printer/scanner back into the computer, (I tried it in several different usb ports) When the scanner usb is plugged in, the computer freezes and will not start. Disconnect the scanner and the computer works great. Help, I would appreciate any ideas? Thanks SAM

You might try connected the printer/scanner to the back of your computer using a parrelel cable. It's a long shot, but might just work.
