Are there any drivers out there so that an Epson 640 will run on Windows XP

windows xp already has built in support for the epson 640. The only thing that you will not get to work is your epson status monitor. I just wait until the red light flashes on my printer and then change the cartidges.

I have the Espon 640 plugged into a generic USB-to-Parrellel adapter and it all worked without any extra effort on my part. XP installed its own drivers for both. SeanC is right, though, no Status Monitor. Who needs it, I say. Mike

Did the NT drivers/cartridge monitor work under XP?
Yep Windows XP has built in driver for Epson 640 printer. But I could not print higher DPI (1440dpi). It could print when i use Windows ME. Does any knows how to go about this? Epson's website has no updated driver for this printer.
Summary: I just bought a new computer and need to get the drivers for XP compatibility. I have been looking for about a month now. Someone please HELP! ...
