This is so weird.
Ive just updated my Geforce 4TI 4600 display drivers. After the driver install program was complete, the computer must be restarted. The program does this automatically. Just before my computer shut down it displayed a End Program: "should not see this"(this would be the program that was being shutdown)message box.
Ive searched my system for any files or folders with the name of "should not see me" and found nothing. Searching the web I found that there are others having the same message but there wasnt any advice on what the program was or if it had anything to do with the lasted NVIDIA drivers/installation program that I had downloaded.
I use AVG for virus scanning and also Panda just to be thorough, both scanners found nothing.
There is nothing wrong with my PC, I keep it very clean as it is a gaming box.
Has anyone ever seen this message, or heard of a program by the same name?
My thoughts are that this is a bug in the NVIDIA installation program or it is some kind of bot or hack that was installed onto my comp somehow.
If anyone else has seen this please post with what was happening at the moment the End Program message appeared.
Thanks
Brian

Got this from Google Groups - can't give the URL - far too long...
" This occasionally appears when a program takes an abnormally long time to close when shutting down or rebooting the pc. It is a standard windows message that was used during the beta, then left in place in the final version. It means exactly what it says--you should not see the message if programs are terminating correctly. In particular, the "Should not see me.exe" message (it's actually an executable file name) appears when you initiate a reboot after installing NVIDIA drivers.

Wow thanks for the rapid response!
Ive since found out that the program that was taking an abnormally long time to close was a hijacking/spyware program.
