After reinstalling XP pro, I can´t read the (green) encrypted files, that I had on another disk anymore. Same Admin-level user (only one), same password, same XP cd with key, same me. Is there a way to convince XP it`s really me, after reinstalling? :)

I don't think so. The encryption key is unique to the installation. I'm sure there are some branches of the government with the resources to break that but for mere mortals ..... A lesson for all. If you must reinstal the operating system then decrypt and backup important files first.

Yeah, Richard, seems so.... very annoying anyway :) Unique to installation seems though a little stupid to me, because in my case it is like checking my identity twice and still not giving me the rights, to my stuff. (CD/ CD KEY/ ADMINLEVEL USERNAME/ PW) I wanna also point out that Microsoft Finland has been to NONE help with this, in any way. :) And mr.XPuser, yes, about the NTFS/share rights generally, is all info I can find about this matter, online. And that stuff I know.
