Encarta error message

I am trying to load a 1998 version of Encarta and I am getting this message at the end of the setup.

SWflash.ocx was unable to register itself in the system registry.

Could anyone help me to overcome this problem.

What version of Shockwave are you running? Adobe has some helpful information.

Thanks for the link .Have tried a few suggestions but so far no luck.

I have Shockwave 8 installed .The version in the program I am trying to load is using Shockwave 2.

Yes.I tried that and got this response

Loadlibrary ("SWFlash.ocx")failed-The specified module could not be found.

I downloaded the Adobe uninstall file and uninstalled flash player then reinstalled Encarta World Atlas.
It worked fine .You are a Genius.
