Enable/disable XP print screen function

I'm confused. By "Print" do you mean the Print Screen key? If so, the Ctrl-Alt isn't necessary. Pressing the Print Screen key alone will send the screen shot to the Clipboard. jennifer Sounds like the OP is referring to the keyboard command to print, not print screen.

I found the link: http://labnol.blogspot.com/2004/08/... but my Windows XP Pro has no predefined hotkeys in the registry: IDHOT_SNAPDESKTOP and IDHOT_SNAPWINDOW (search function did not find them) Is there a registry key for turning off the clipboard perhaps? Turning off Clipboard ??? Then you cannot do CUT, COPY, or PASTE.
