hi there... the game empire earth after working a few times now does not load. just after loading the game from the start menu a title with the game shows up and then the screen goes back to the desktop and the game goes to the taskbar and every time i try to restore it the screen goes black for a moment and then back to the desktop. i had no problems with this game on another computer running windows me but the games website does not have any patch or recognise a problem for xp. i have the latest direct x 8.1 and have running mp3 dancer demo but disabled and nav 2002. i also can hear the game loading and the music form the game. can u help? many thanks

I find if an older game or program cannot be installed by way of the CD then use "Program Compatibility Wizard" to install it. If the game is installed, but will not start by way of the CD, then when inserting the CD hold down the left Shift key for approx. 15 sec. to keep AutoRun from taking over. Now click the game in the "All Programs" list.
