I was resizing and deleting and reorganizing partitions in Windows. I restart my computer to finalize the operations, and I get this error after all is done. It stops the bootup process, saying there's an error with EMM386.exe. Now I can't boot off a CD or even to the hard drive. I'm stuck at this error. Clearing the CMOS and moving around the SATA cable didnt help, not that I expected it would anyway... Help? アンドリュー

AFAIK, there's no need for emm386. Yes, delpart can select the partition to delete. You can't boot from the XP install CD??? Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

might want to consider a repair reinstall before you render your system completely inop. Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
