Email with Wrong time

August 12, 2009 at 09:29:01
Specs: Windows XP
When I send an email, the recipient, even in the same office as I am, their time is saying 1 - 2 hours ahead of time. I have checked all my time settings and even synchronized, what is the problem and how do I fix it?

Please be specific as to how you checked your time.

What are the results if you send yourself an email?

I went to the lower right hand corner, clicked adjust date and time, made sure everything was correct there, even to internet time at time.windows.com and it synchornized correctly.

I sent an email to myself at 1:34 it showed received at 3:15

It has to be something on the specific computer becauase I also use outook express for my comcast email account and when I send from that it shows the same thing - send 134 received 315.

Sounds like you have the wrong TIME ZONE selected.

I checked that - everything is correct set for Central time. The clock time is correct, the internet time synch'd.

Sign in to your server account summary page (The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in. Click Registered information.
Update any personal settings you want to change, including your birth date, occupation, and home or work location.
Under Home location, you must select your country or region in the Country/Region box. All other information under Home location is optional.

Check the date and time in the BIOS (setup) screens.
