E-mail launching in IE7

I have recently started using Netscape Navigator as my default browser. When I click on an e-mail link on a web page what is launched is IE7 and the sign in box for my Hotmail account. The Hotmail account is fine because it's my default e-mail account and I want it launched but what I do not want is IE7 launching it. I've looked but can not find a way of changing this behavior. Is there a way of making the e-mail accounts open with Netscape other than deleting IE7? For that matter what if I want to later change to Mozilla Firefox or Opera?

Unless you're using an Email client such as Outlook and popping your mail, the only way you can get to your Hotmail account (as far as IE is concerned) is for IE to open.
Did you have this problem before upgrading to IE 7? Because I believe this is normal behavior since IE is so integrated into Windows.
There's really no way to completely remove IE from Windows because of that integration.
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Check the email program setting in IE>Tools>Internet options>program tab. Hotmail may be the default email program.
