Email hyperlinks embeded at websites do not work. I have to copy and paste at my email - Yahoo. This happens using Firefox, IE or Netscape. I have Zone Alarm but I don't see a problem in my settings. I've looked in tools and elsewhere to see if I have some default setting - but can't find it.

jcallen, Try registering the referenced dll files as shown under the Resolution section at the link below.

Tufenuf

If Tufenuf's suggestion doesnt fix it try here
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306098
Or
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q17..." If at first you don't succeed, Please Post Back "

So far I tried Tufenuf's suggestion. The only one that got through was the first one the rest were not accepted. I tried all the browsers and email hyperlinks. Only IE responded with, "default Mail Client not properly installed", the other browsers just highlighted the link and did nothing.
Since I don't have mns or outlook as an email address, I'm wondering if this is not the problem.
I'll try Bob's post after lunch.

jcallen, You must leave a space btween regsvr32 and the file name as shown below.
Start>Run, type in (one at a time):
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dllTry again and see if they all register.
Tufenuf

Keep pushing Tufenuf. I did that and it worked. Unfortunately I had to fill out a form of server info for Outlook Express and I entered mail.yahoo.com and SMTP.yahoo.com. The messages came back, so I’m thinking that since my server is Qwest, but I don’t have mns through them, that that might have been wrong. Anyway I’ll keep trying as at least I get a Outlook email box up, why I don’t know. Now I can't find that box to try something different.

Thanks guys. I just had to add the correct Yahoo pop setting and info into the Tool section of Outlook Express. I can now click embbeded email hyperlinks without cutting and pasting and the reply to the email will go to my yahoo mailbox. Life is good. The dll file was the 1st key to opening this up. Thanks.
